Full-time Optician positions available at Casa de Oro Eyecare and Lakeside Eyecare. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with one Saturday per month. This position includes PTO, holidays, and other full-time benefits. We are an independent optometry practice with two locations.
Ideal candidates will have ABO certification or 1+ years retail optical experience and a familiarity with fitting frames, ophthalmic lens designs, vision plans and insurances. Knowledge of VSP, EyeMed, MES, and other vision plans a plus.
Duties include frame and lens selection, lab ordering, insurance benefits/billing, neutralizing glasses, adjusting; repairing; dispensing, inventory management, and other optical-related tasks.
Must project a professional image, possess exceptional customer service skills, be able to communicate clearly/effectively with doctors, patients, and co-workers. We are looking for someone who enjoys a collaborative work environment and thrives on working as a team.
