Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Time Optician to join our dynamic team. As an Optician, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients in selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs and personal style preferences. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription requirements, facial features, and lifestyle considerations.
- Taking precise measurements for eyewear fittings and ensuring proper alignment and fit.
- Educating patients on lens options, coatings, and treatments to meet their visual requirements and lifestyle needs.
- Conducting repairs and adjustments to eyewear as needed to ensure optimal comfort and functionality.
- Providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with patients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborating with other members of the optical team to maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Licensed Optician preferred.
- Proficiency in conducting eyewear fittings, adjustments, and repairs with attention to detail and precision.
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and lens materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
