Valley Vision Center is in a small community perfectly situated in West Point, GA on the Alabama/Georgia line between Auburn, AL and Newnan, GA just off Interstate-85. The area is home to two large lakes, beautiful hunting tracts, and many kid/family friendly attractions. Mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, Callaway Gardens, museums, Great Wolf Lodge, walking trails, music, and theater can all be found in the area.  The outstanding academic institution, Auburn University, along with several others are within driving distance. Our area is experiencing rapid growth as West Point has recently become the home of Point University and Kia Motors Manufacturing, with other significant industries and companies soon to follow. We have a rich and deep history in our community, and we have been serving in this area for over 70 years. Valley Vision Center is the friendly neighborhood eye doctor in the Lanett, AL/West Point, GA area. We help patients see what they couldn’t before and want patients who value high touch care. Treating entire families is just one way we support the Valley Community.

We are looking for a full time or part time associate Optometrist who is interested in primary care and being a part of our community. We value strong doctor-patient relationships, a team mentality, team members who are kind, caring and honest, and who go above and beyond what is needed. We also focus on what’s possible rather than excuses. We offer paid holidays and paid time off and you will not work weekends or Fridays. We will also pay for all state licensing fees and continuing education. 

As an OD on our team, you will provide comprehensive eye care to a diverse group of patients of all ages. Doctors share the patient load, but you will be able to choose whether you want to provide pediatric eye care. Aside from standard comprehensive exams, you will also treat patients with AMD and Glaucoma as well as acute care, including injuries, foreign body removal, and infections. Our office is equipped with Optomap, Visual Field, and Automated Refracting technology to provide excellent care to our patients.
