About this Practice

At Vicksburg Optometry, each member of our vision care team is selected by Dr. Miller based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients.

Our entire Vicksburg Optometry staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient. We work with the local community for all things eye related. We help do repairs, emergency eye care, comprehensive eye care, medical visits, dry eye, and more. We love building relationships with our local community.

We are located in a small town just south of Portage and Kalamazoo. We have a small town feel for a great work life balance. Many of us having children and knowing the need to be flexible but yet still provide great patient care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation
  • Performing comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and ocular health
  • Prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction options
  • Educating patients on eye care practices and preventive health
  • Practicing full-scope general optometry
  • No sales responsibilities out on the floor

Access to Advanced Technology and Equipment, Including:

  • Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Optos retinal imaging
  • Visual field testing systems
  • OCT
  • Antares (Meibography, corneal topography, tear film analysis)
  • Radiofrequency treatment technology (RF)
  • Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL)
  • iCare tonometry

What You’ll Need:

  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • Active state optometry license
  • Experience in patient care
  • Strong understanding of ocular physiology and vital signs
  • Teachable personality as you get used to our office flow
