Optometrist - Full-time Float - OD/MD Practice - Bellmore & Great Neck, NY
About the practice
The staff at our ophthalmology practice have combined our thorough expertise and cutting-edge techniques to establish a practice that provides for all eye care needs of our patients! From cataract surgery to LASIK, we provide the best comprehensive eye care and the most welcoming customer experience. As a practice that has been in business for over 35 years, we put our patients first. We have two locations on Long Island--one in Bellmore and one in Great Neck. We are looking for a new doctor to come in and help us continue this tradition of excellence!
About the optometrist position
We are looking for an optometrist who can see our Post Op patients and some regular scheduled visits. Our OD can anticipate offering disease based care, dry eye, glaucoma, and general medical care with no no contact lens fittings in the office!
About the office
Our OD will have the opportunity to work alongside our 2 MDs, and 1 OD, our incredible support staff, and 6 techs, and will have a fully equipped office with slit lamps, OCT, fundus photos, VF, ERG, and Microscopy Spec!
Schedule and Compensation
Our OD will make $75/hour plus production bonus, as well as medical, matching 401K, PTO, and more benefits (please inquire). The minimum ask schedule-wise is that we are in need of 2 Saturday sessions on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Minimum about 10 post op appointments and 10 regular office visits. Other than that, we are open to providing more time and resources to help further integrate you into our practice!
