Optometrist - Full-time/Part-time - Medically-Oriented Private Practice - Crockett, TX

Our private practice has been a leading provider of optometry services and vision care products in the Alamo community since 1994. We use advanced diagnostic technology and vision correction products and are committed to improving the quality of life of our community through enhanced vision. We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-time Optometrist to join the practice!
What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
- Valid VA state license to practice optometry (or pending)
- Our ideal hire is an optometrist who truly wants to focus on the medical side of Optometry

Exposure: You will gain exposure to a wide range of eye care and vision needs in our full-scope practice with an emphasis on medical optometry. Our doctors see a wide range of cases and provide a full range of services including pressure checks, follow-ups on glaucoma surgery, macular degeneration follow-ups, and AMD! Additionally, this is a unique opportunity to perform surgery– we have a surgical center in LA, that provides YAG Surgery and laser surgery for Glaucoma. If a doctor is licensed in TX & LA they can practice surgical optometry not just medical!
Environment: Our new OD will always have a robust team supporting them every day. They will be working alongside our experienced head doctor and our incredible staff comprised of Opticians, Techs who will perform testing for the ODs, and seven other support staff. Likewise, they will have everything they need to be successful with our up-to-date technology and diagnostic equipment, including:
- OCT
- Ultrasound
- Color Test
- 6 refracting lanes
- Autorefractor
- Phoropter
- VF
- OfficeMate EMR
Schedule: We value work-life balance - which means our schedule has no weekends and no nights! Our full-time doctors work a standard 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
