Optometrist – 1 or 2 Clinics/Week – Eden Detention Center - Eden, TX
Who are we? We are searching for rockstar OD to join our family! We are currently recruiting a Texas licensed optometrist to provide on site services. At this time, we are asking all local OD's to consider either a short term or long term commitment to provide care to this traditionally underserved population. Optometrist Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
- Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
Optometrist Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid TX state license to practice optometry
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
- Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
