Optometrist - Full-time/Part-time - Full Scope Medical Group Practice - Danville, VA

Our practice is a full-service eye and vision care provider that handles eye emergencies as well as scheduled appointments. Our one-on-one approach to optometry has earned us the position as one of the most trusted eye and vision care providers in the Danville area. We are searching to add a fantastic full-time or part-time Optometrist to join the practice!
What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
- Valid VA state license to practice optometry (or pending)
- Availability to work
- Caring and competent work ethic
- Develop great rapport with staff and patients

You will treat eye conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, and dry eyes, as well as pediatrics if you are interested! You will have everything you need to be successful with our state-of-the-art technology including an Optiview OCT, Optos imaging device, Optoplus visual field, automatic phoropters, and our well-trained tech support, front desk office manager, and billing team!
Schedule: We value work-life balance - no weekends! For doctors looking for part-time work, we’re looking for a minimum of 3 days. For a full-time schedule we’re looking for our doctor to work Monday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Tuesday and Wed 8 AM to 6 PM. We know the importance of having a schedule that allows you to provide your best care, and so we are very flexible with hours and we only schedule 3 patients an hour!
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
- 6% percent match on 401k
- PTO 2 weeks
- 5 days of CE
- Malpractice and licensing fees.
