Located in Aurora, Illinois, our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology available. We are looking for an Ophthalmologist interested in becoming an integral part of our team and becoming invested in the growth and development of the organization!
Ophthalmologist Job Expectations
We are searching for an experienced and personable Ophthalmologist to join our team! We’re looking for a general MD to handle primarily cataract patients. Our MD will provide 40 surgeries a month and will see 50 patients from our underserved patient base daily during an average clinical dy.
Ophthalmologist Job Requirements & Qualifications
- A medical degree in ophthalmology
- Successful completion of an ophthalmology internship/residency
- Valid FL state license to practice ophthalmology
- Our ideal candidate will be entrepreneurially minded
Why You’ll Love this Opportunity
Environment: Our staff is comprised of an incredible combination of techs, scribes, ODs, and other MDs- 3 retina MDs and 2 comprehensive MDs with a glaucoma focus. Our weekly schedule sees 1 day of surgery and the rest is clinical time We have all the equipment our doctors need, including OCT, AR Topographer, Optos, etc! If our new MD would like to focus on a specialty, they can invest in it as part of the employment agreement!
Opportunity: Both our full-time and part-time position are very flexible! Our workweek is Monday to Friday–no weekends!--hours are flexible–and we can accommodate any schedule, whether you’re looking for something very flexible or are looking for a lot of hours!
