About our Practice

Our private optometry practice in Beverly Hills is dedicated to neuro-developmental rehabilitation and vision therapy, providing specialized care to patients with a variety of visual conditions. We are passionate about improving lives through innovative treatment, helping children and adults enhance their visual skills and overall well-being. Our patients are kind, appreciative, and engaged in their care, making every day at the practice fulfilling and rewarding.

Located in a wonderful and safe area in Beverly Hills, our practice offers a welcoming and supportive work environment. Though small, we operate as a close-knit team, working collaboratively and supporting one another like family. About the Optician Position

Our new Optician will be a welcome addition to our team and family who is both personable and welcoming to our patients. A passion for eyecare and general patient health is essential to providing the best experience we can!

Optician Duties & Responsibilities

  • Helping with frame selection, education on lens choices and coatings, frame adjustments, and sales.
  • Performing and training new contact lens patients on the process of inserting and removing a contact lens from their eye.
  • Must be also open to cross training  in order to fully work-up patients, including, but not limited to: Asking pre-testing questions, performing an auto-refraction, taking retinal photos, running visual fields, measuring visual acuity and more.
  • Measure single vision, bifocal and progressive glasses prescriptions with a manual lensometer.
  • Providing adjustments and repairs.
  • Answering phones, booking patient appointments, verifying insurance, as well as checking patients in and out of the office.
  • Submitting vision insurance claims.
  • Ordering patient products including frames, lenses, contact lenses, sunglasses, and more.
