- Working Hours - Our incredible team works a 4-day workweek– 11 hours a day with a 1-hour lunch and no weekends! This work schedule helps support a good work-life balance that's hard to find nowadays! We are hiring for part-time hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 8:30 AM-7:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
- Compensation - We offer a competitive hourly rate OF $31/hour!
As an optician in our practice, your regular duties will include:
- Optical Work
- Verifying orders received for accuracy
- Fitting
- Repairs / Adjustments
- Preliminary Testing
- Submit claims to VSP
- Contact lens training
- High-end frame sales
- Back up your teammates
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the optical field is preferred, but willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
- A friendly personality and great customer service skills
- Respectful demeanor with a servant's attitude
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy
- Good math skills
- Team player mentality dedicated to the company goals
- A strong work ethic and multitasking skills
- VSP Vision Insurance claim submission knowledge
- Revolution EHR knowledge preferred but willing to train
