Seeking a Licensed Optician with exceptional skills in providing customers with contact lenses to join our esteemed team at Hapa Kristin in Wynwood, Miami. The chosen candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for assisting customers in selecting colored contact lenses, ensuring proper fit, and educating them on lens care. As a licensed optician, the focus will be on enhancing customers' confidence in their choice of eye color while prioritizing their ocular health.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting colored contact lenses that suit their preferences and visual needs
- Accurately measure and fit contact lenses to ensure optimal comfort and vision correction
- Dispense and educate customers on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Collaborate with the optometrist team to ensure smooth customer consultations and prescription fulfillment
- Maintain a well-organized and clean dispensing area
- Process customer orders and handle transactions efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
- Licensed as an Optician in the state of Miami, FL, authorized to dispense contact lenses
- Proven experience in fitting and dispensing contact lenses, including colored contacts
- In-depth knowledge of different contact lens brands, materials, and care products
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure and fit contact lenses
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Proficiency in maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness of contact lens dispensing equipment
- Familiarity with eyewear prescriptions and lens parameters
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a retail or optical setting
- Interest in beauty and the ability to converse with the customer with beauty in mind
- Knowledge of Hapa Kristin's colored contact lens products and services
