Optician -Full Time - Madison, NJ - Multi-OD practice
About the Practice
Our practice was started in 1995 in Madison, NJ and over the years we have continued to provide the best quality eye care in town. We have a modern, large (4000sf ) office with lots of natural light. Our team consists of 4 optometrists (usually 2 on at a time) and 5 opticians (usually 3-4 opticians on at a time). We do edge and mount about 50% of the complete jobs that we sell. We do see quite a few patients that visit from out of town because of the large and high-end collection of frames we offer!
About the Optician Position
The ideal candidate will be licensed as an optician in NJ and have at least 2 years of experience. We will consider candidates with less experience and/or currently in training/school to become an optician. We are looking for someone that is comfortable in a family-like environment where we not only treat our team like family but our patients as well.
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- helping patients select frames/lenses
- make adjustments
- repairs and related responsibilities.
