We have partnered with a network of eye care professionals that is fully committed to providing a personal touch at every visit. Our client is currently seeking two dedicated individuals to join their team as Opticians for this exciting Direct Hire opportunity. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive optimal vision correction and stylish frames that suit their preferences. This position involves a variety of tasks, including processing prescriptions, measuring customers' eyes and faces, assisting in frame selection, creating work orders for ophthalmic lab technicians, adjusting eyewear for proper fit, and providing education on eyewear care.
Salary: $27-30/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday during practice hours (typically between 8AM and 7PM) and 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Location: Flexibility to float between 2-3 practice locations in Buffalo, primarily either northern or southern Buffalo practices.
Job Requirements:
Valid NYS Ophthalmic Dispensing License
