About the Optometric Technician Position
Our office is a very fast-paced & detail-oriented environment, so quick learning and critical thinking skills are a mush. The job would entail direct interactions with patients through initial workup & pre-testing with various technology as well as contact lens fitting & training. Another responsibility shared would be placing contact lens revenue & stock orders. The position requires good communication skills with the doctors as well as leadership staff & various other objectifies to learn over time. We try to cross-train everyone in most areas so there is potential for learning other positions in the future as well.
