About the Optometrist Role
This is a unique opportunity to practice medical optometry with flexibility and autonomy. We're seeking a personable, proactive, and confident Optometrist with excellent clinical and communication skills. You’ll be an integral part of our team, providing top-tier care to our patients while enjoying a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in treating ocular and dry eye diseases
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care
- Maintain meticulous electronic health records
- Address eye care emergencies
- Educate and counsel patients on maintaining healthy vision
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid CA state optometry license
- Experience or residency with at least one year in practice
- Proficiency in contact lenses and medical optometry
- Dry eye experience
- Specialty contact lens residency preferred but not required
