About the Optometrist Position
This role presents a unique opportunity to practice optometry according to your vision. We prioritize our doctors' growth, dedicating time and resources for education and professional development. We are seeking a team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills—someone personable, energetic, proactive, confident, and with strong communication abilities.

Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities
As a vital addition to our team, you'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular diseases, dry eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in promoting healthy vision through patient counseling and education, all while maintaining meticulous electronic health records and handling eye care emergencies.

What You Will Need:

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
  • Valid CA state license to practice optometry
  • Experienced clinician or a resident with one year of experience
  • Proficiency in contact lenses and medical optometry
  • Dry eye experience and residency in specialty contact lenses are advantageous but not required
