Optometrist Wanted for Growing Private Practice – Full Time
We recently acquired a well-established private practice of 56 years and are looking to expand our team with a new Associate Optometrist. We provide comprehensive eye care and optical services to patients of all ages in a beautiful, but underserved community. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing the highest quality eyecare and who works well with our amazing team. This position is open to new graduates and experienced optometrists with a current California license.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, but we are open to four- or five-day work weeks and dynamic schedules. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary with paid holidays, 3 weeks of PTO per year, and production bonuses paid quarterly. Additionally, we offer medical insurance, in house vision coverage, 401k with match, and malpractice insurance.
Location
Located in Lake County California, our practice offers the opportunity to live and work in one of the most beautiful and affordable communities in the state. The area is encircled by mountain ranges, dotted with vineyards, and is home to Clear Lake, the largest natural lake in the state. There are a number of ways to enjoy the lake, including boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, Jet-Skiing, fishing, and kayaking. Less than an hour's drive north will take you to the vast wilderness of the Mendocino National Forest where camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, and off-roading are enjoyed year-round. An hour’s drive south will bring you to the gorgeous Napa Valley, although Lake County itself is home to more than 30 wineries, meaning that some of the best wines in the world are never more than a few minutes away.
