Optometrist - Full- Time - Full-Scope Care (No Weekends!) - Oxnard, VA (West Village)

We are a established community health center that is dedicated to providing comprehensive and preventive eyecare services to members of the community who are traditionally underserved due to limited income and resources. We provide comprehensive eye care to patients. Our services include not only vision correction but screening for a range of conditions including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye and macular degeneration etc and more.

- A well-equipped office - Our office is equipped with everything you need to practice, including a autorefractor, autokeratometer, corneal topographer, reichert manual phoroptor, tonopen, automated lensometer and binocular indirect ophthalmoscope.
Schedule
- NO WEEKENDS! Our office hours would be: Monday- Friday 7AM-3:30 PM

What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
- Mission driven in serving a community that is underprivileged
- Warmth with patients and flexible in helping other locations with coverage on a as needed basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
- Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
