About the Practice
Desert Eye Associates is a thriving, independent practice owned and operated by physicians. We provide complete eye care, from complex disease management to refined visual solutions. We are looking for an experienced optometrist to step into a central, long-term clinical role—a doctor who values providing full-scope care, from medical management to recommending the best visual outcomes for every patient.
Your Role: Provide Complete, Patient-Focused Care

- Manage a comprehensive medical and surgical practice, providing long-term management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration, along with post-operative care for cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery patients.
- Integrate medical and optical expertise by prescribing and recommending optimal optical corrections—including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and lifestyle IOLs—to solve refractive and lifestyle needs.
- Work in a consultative partnership with our glaucoma fellowship-trained MD, co-managing surgical cases and complex disease.
- Utilize our established network of local retina, cornea, and oculoplastic specialists for seamless patient care.
- Lead and grow our Dry Eye Clinic (with IPL/RF) and Myopia Control Center (with Pentacam, Lenstar, Ortho-K).
- See 18–22 patients per day in a schedule designed for quality care, with full support from a shared team of skilled technicians.
