Job Title: Full-Time or Part Time Optometrist (Flexible Schedule with Saturdays Needed)

We're a team dedicated to providing the highest quality of personalized eye care inside Target Optical in Encinitas and Balboa and are looking for a Full-Time Optometrist to join our team. Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to provide exceptional eye care services to our patients. This role requires a balance of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure our patients not only receive accurate eye health and vision care but also feel genuinely cared for. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is adaptable to varying schedules, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to the team. 

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat various visual and ocular disorders. Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as needed. Offer personalized eye health and vision care recommendations to patients. Engage in patient education regarding eye health, lens care, and lifestyle choices affecting vision and ocular health. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in optometry. Collaborate closely with the Target Optical team to deliver seamless and efficient patient care.

Requirements: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry program. Valid CA state license to practice optometry. Exceptional efficiency in patient care management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for making patients feel at ease. A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a commitment to providing compassionate care. Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work Saturdays.
