  About us

Myopia Care Optometric PC is a premier, multi-locations private optometry practice serving San Diego CA.   We are commonly known as Clairemont Optometry and San Diego Vision Care Optometry, both located in central San Diego. No matter the location, patients can expect a world-class eye care experience—and it shows—with more than 2,00 online reviews and Google reviews consistently averaging higher than 4.8.   We have a top-notch team of doctors, and excellent support staff, and are looking for our next Optometrist to join the team.

Why join us?

Established in 2012, we take a progressive approach to eye care, providing expanded-scope optometry and medical optometry.  We provide specialties in contact lenses, keratoconus, myopia management, and chronic dry eye. As part of the team, you’ll join a supportive, collegial, and family-like environment for you to grow within. Our goal is to support your practice interests, have you be heard, and feel appreciated for the important role you will serve as part of the family.

What you’ll do:

Practicing full-time, you’ll provide primary eye care for patients and their families in a beautifully designed, state-of-the-art clinic, providing personalized and individualized full-scope optometry to patients of all ages, visual and medical diagnoses. The practice is well-equipped for expanded-scope medical optometry, and you’ll have access to advanced diagnostic technology including iLight IPL/RF/LLLT, Optos Daytona, Oculus Easy Field, Zeiss Stratus OCT, Corneal Topography, Eye Surface Profilometry, and iCare tonometry. A team of Optometric Technicians is available for support, enabling you to provide the highest level of care possible.

Note:  If you have an interest in dry eyes management, we strongly encourage you to apply because you have the skill sets/interests we need to fill out the team.  We can provide training for someone interested in dry eye management. We are no longer looking for someone with myopia management or specialty lens skill sets.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree

· CA state OD license

· Dry eye experience or interest preferred but not required. Will train the right person.

· Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required.

Who we’re seeking:

If you’re a highly talented and motivated associate who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys seeking the challenge of what a modern-day medical optometrist can provide, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a recent graduate, if you can provide compassionate, competent, and outstanding patient care, we invite you to apply. As the practice has a strong patient retention record and word-of-mouth referrals, your efforts will directly support a growing patient base and impact business success.

Compensation:

Our compensation is highly competitive. Benefits include professional insurance coverage, continuing education allowance, and a guaranteed production bonus of at least 15%. This position works Monday-Friday with one required Saturday a month. The position offers 12 vacation and sick days, 6 paid Holidays, plus a $500 CE allowance, and one free pair of glasses on your birthday.

Join our team today and be a part of a growing practice that values and cherishes you and your expertise. Apply today to embark on your next exciting journey together with us!
