Siskiyou Eye Center—the premier eye care center serving Southern Oregon and Northern
California—is seeking an optometrist to join our California team. We are an established practice of 40 years, providing full-service eye care to our community. As we continue to grow, we have an immediate opportunity for an optometrist to step into a busy practice seeing both routine and medical patients in addition to cataract surgery post-operative exams. The position is based in our Yreka, California office and includes some coverage of our Ashland, Oregon office located 45 minutes away.
We use state-of-the-art technology to give our patients a highly personalized experience and take pride in providing the best possible medical, surgical and optical eye care. Our practice consists of four ophthalmologists and an optometrist. You will be supported by the doctors and our tenured staff who embody a personal, caring approach to treatment. We are looking for an affable, talented and motivated optometrist to join our thriving practice.
Responsibilities:
• Provide primary eye care services to patients.
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams for adults and children.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing ophthalmic surgery.
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions.
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and preventive measures.
• Referpatients to other healthcare professionals as needed.
