Optometrist - PT - Full-Scope Private Practice - Aurora, CO

*Recent grads and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply!

At our clinic, we empower our eye doctors with state-of-the-art technology and office support so that they can detect a problem early on in its formation and help the patient get ahead of the symptoms and conditions associated with the problem. If you’re an OD who believes in benefiting and maintaining the systemic health of your patients, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Need:

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
  • Valid CO state license to practice optometry (or pending)
  • Availability to work

Why Work Here?

Exposure: You will gain exposure to a wide range of eye care and vision needs in our full-scope practice with an emphasis on medical optometry. Our doctors frequently treat vision issues caused by chronic conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, and primarily see a patient population of children, about 70-30 children to adults.

Environment: During training, the new ODs will have the opportunity to go to each of the clinics to get to know the other ODs and managers who run the clinics. Our team handles everything so that our doctors just focus on patient care. In addition, our office is stocked with equipment including:

  • Optos
  • Visual Fields
  • OCT
  • And whatever tech the doctor needs, we will obtain!

Schedule: We value work-life balance - no weekends! Our PT doctor will work 2 days a week in Aurora, CO

Compensation

We offer $72.50 per hour

Why You’ll Love Our Location:

Our practice is family and patient-oriented, and we provide a great experience from the time the patient walks in, to the time they leave. We don’t believe in micromanaging our incredible doctors-- you’re running your own show. Our team is committed to providing service in our community and abroad: our doctors travel to rural Guatemala and provide eye care and glasses to those who have no access to modern medicine, visit homebound elderly patients to give them eye care in the comfort of their own homes and support local schools by donating and taking his wife on dates to their sports games and fine arts productions. He encourages his staff to have the same level of involvement in the community, and is always working toward the growth and development of the community and staff!
