This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist who enjoys medical optometry and wants significant exposure to ocular disease while having access to experienced specialists and extensive clinical support.

What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive and medical eye care for patients of all ages, including:
- Comprehensive eye examinations
- Medical optometry
- Cataract evaluations and management
- Glaucoma
- Dry eye
- Retina and retinal disease
- Age-related macular degeneration
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Contact lens services and fittings
- Soft, gas-permeable, hybrid, and scleral contact lenses
- Corneal disease
- Low vision care
- Patient education and management
Advanced Technology
Practice with a comprehensive suite of modern diagnostic technology, including:
- OCT
- Optos retinal imaging
- Visual fields
- Advanced diagnostic equipment throughout the facility
- Everything you need to provide full-scope medical eye care
Mentorship & Clinical Support
One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is the depth of clinical support available. You’ll work directly alongside multiple ophthalmologists, including specialists in areas such as glaucoma and cornea.
You are not expected to know everything on day one. The practice is willing to train and mentor the right candidate while providing opportunities to gain exposure to different areas of medical optometry and ophthalmology. When a complex case arises, you’ll have experienced specialists available to collaborate with and provide guidance.
What We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado
- Open to new graduates and experienced Optometrists
- Strong interest in medical optometry
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative medical team
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with specialty contact lenses, low vision, cornea, or ocular disease is a plus, but not required
- The practice is willing to provide training for the right candidate
