  Vision Institute is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our collaborative OD/MD practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who enjoys practicing medical optometry, managing ocular disease, and fitting specialty contact lenses while working alongside experienced optometrists and ophthalmologists.

We are a high-volume, medically focused practice dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on ocular disease management, specialty contact lenses, dry eye treatment, and surgical co-management.

Job Description

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, and other anterior and posterior segment conditions.
  • Fit and manage specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses and keratoconus patients.
  • Provide medical eye care utilizing advanced diagnostic technology.
  • Co-manage cataract, refractive, and corneal procedures with our ophthalmology team.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans while educating patients on their ocular health.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of optometrists, ophthalmologists, technicians, and support staff.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program.
  • Active Colorado optometry license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Experience managing ocular disease and medically focused eye care.
  • Experience fitting specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses, preferred.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
