Optometrist - Part-Time/Full-Time - OD/MD Practice - Washington, DC- No Weekends! 

*Licensed new grads, and experienced doctors are encouraged to apply!

Our fantastic OD/MD practice has served the community in and around Washington, DC, for over 25 years. Our goal is to provide our patients with the highest quality eye care that will improve their vision and afford them complete spectacle independence after cataract and LASIK surgeries. We specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of corneal diseases.

  • Do what you love - We are looking for a full-time long-term optometrist eager to practice full-scope optometry, providing routine care, diabetic eye exams, contact lenses and fittings, dry eye disease management, cataract checks, glaucoma screening and treatment, evaluation for macular degeneration, medical office visits, and prescribing medicine!

  • A well-equipped office - Our practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic instruments such as fully equipped, 4 full exam lanes, slit lamp, autorefractor, VF, fundus camera, OCT imaging, compulink EMR. You will work alongside 1 MD and an incredible support staff that allows you to focus on your patients and provide your best care.

Schedule & Benefits

  • Competitive pay - We offer a competitive salary plus production and full range benefits including:

  • Great schedule - We would ideally love to bring on a full-time clinician, but are open to PT with minimum of 3 days per week! In our 8:30 AM to 4:40 PM schedule, you will typically see 20-24 patients a day, with your first patient arriving at 8:30 first patient and your last patient around 4!
  • 8-30-4:40- no weekends!

What You’ll Need:

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree (or pending) 
  • Valid state license to practice optometry (or pending) 
  • 2 years of experience would be best, but not required
  • Open to 2024 grads
