Optometrist - Full-time - Bradenton, FL

We are a well-established, independent private practice of three comprehensive ophthalmologists located in beautiful Manatee County Florida. With the upcoming retirement of our founding physician, we are looking to welcome a non-surgical ophthalmologist or medical optometrist to help us meet growing patient demand.

We like to work 4 days a week with weekends off. We don’t take hospital call, and practice call is close to zero. We care deeply for our patients and our staff—and we’re looking for someone who will help us preserve and protect that culture as we grow.
Start date would be Spring or early Summer 2026.
We will be at AAO 2025 in Orlando for interviews.
Responsibilities:
● Full scope of practice providing comprehensive and routine eye exams
● Diagnosing and managing eye diseases
● Co-manage and assist in care of post-surgical cataract patients for our two surgeons
● Collaborate with ophthalmologists in treating ocular pathology
Job Information:
● No satellite or weekend clinics
● Well established practice with available volume starting day 1

● State-of-the-art facilities and equipment including Topcon Maestro2 OCT, Optos ultra-wide field fundus camera, Diopsys ERG/VEP, Zeiss visual field, Argon, Lumenis Selecta Duet SLT/YAG, Ziemer Galilei G4, specular microscopy, Zeiss IOL master 700, and Haag-Streit slit lamps
