Rutkowsky Eye Care is a full service Optometry Practice built on the key principles of integrity, quality and professionalism. We are dedicated to the vision & Low Vision needs of the people of the Bradenton, Sarasota and surrounding communities. As a practice we focus on delivering the best possible solutions and experience to each patient and family that we meet. Always providing hope, understanding and the best in eye care products.
We have an expert team of caring and dedicated low vision professionals
This frees up the OD to focus on clinical and higer level diagnostic services, expert care, creativity and a great flow of positivity to the patients and staff. Our team skillfully demonstrates, sells and trains patients with any of the many types of Low Vision Aids, including Meta prescription glasses as well as our conventional optical products.
Leading candidate(s) will appreciate a competent staff, a primary care setting with a nice mix of refractive and medical patients that often provide a clinical challenge. This allows plenty of balance as one works to refine or sharpen their low vision skill set.
The Location
We are located in the same practice owned, free standing building for a very long time. It offers high visibility and easy access for our patients. The building has a nice curb appeal and is easilly located on a very busy East-West travel way. The local area provides a wide range of eye care patients with a variety of clinical needs. We are able to retain many optical and contact lens prescriptions. There is room for growth and expasion on many levels.
The Office Setup
We generate about two days per week of low vision specialty visits from an established referral network and word of mouth. In addition, there are about two days per week of primary care inside a traditional exam space of 2+ refractive Lanes, a well equipped Low Vison room, pretest, a CL area, OCT, VF topography, optical showroom and reception. We barely utilize the web or any other platforms.
Whether young or seasoned, you'll be able to build on a great team that helps you be productive and fulfilled while avoiding the bureacracy or confinement of some settings. Varius scenarios exist depending on whether you plan to build or are looking to coast!
