Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional eye care services to patients of all ages. We are looking for someone with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of optometry. Our ideal candidate will not only understand but thrive under our high standards of quality and service.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state optometry license.
- Willing to consider new graduates, but experience preferred.
- Strong background in patient care, including pediatrics and senior care.
- In-depth knowledge of ocular physiology and vital signs.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment.
- Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of optical products and services.
- Basic Spanish is preferred but not required.
