What You’ll Need

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
     
  • Valid Florida optometry license (or ability to obtain)
     
  • Interest in full-scope optometry (primary + medical care)
     
  • Strong communication skills and patient-centered mindset

You’ll provide comprehensive eye care, including both primary and medical exams, with a focus on quality over quantity. The practice emphasizes thoughtful medicine, patient education, and long-term relationships rather than rushed visits or high-volume scheduling.

Schedule

  • Open to full-time or part-time
     
  • Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
     
  • Approximately 40 hours/week for full-time, with flexibility
     
  • No weekends
     
  • No on-call requirements

The practice operates out of two locations within ~20 minutes of each other. The OD will typically be based at one location, with flexibility to split time if mutually agreed upon.
