The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our growing team in sunny Vero Beach, Florida. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled ophthalmologist and a dedicated support staff while practicing full-scope optometry in a collaborative, high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
   
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma and cataracts
   
• Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans tailored to patient needs
   
• Co-manage surgical cases with our ophthalmologist
   
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and available treatment options
   
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
   

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
   
• Active Florida Optometry license (or eligibility for licensure)
   
• Strong clinical skills in ocular disease management and primary eye care
   
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
   
• Team-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
