Key Responsibilities

● Provide comprehensive eye and vision examinations for patients of all ages with an emphasis on patient education and communication.

● Diagnose, manage, and treat ocular conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, and ocular surface disease.

● Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and therapeutic medications as needed.

● Offer pre- and post-operative care for LASIK, cataract, and other surgical procedures.

● Collaborate closely with our optical team to ensure seamless care and optimal vision outcomes.

● Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records (EHR).

● Stay up to date with emerging clinical advancements, diagnostic technology, and optometric best practices.

● Contribute to our positive, team-oriented culture built on compassion, integrity, and excellence.

Qualifications

● Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry.

● Current and valid Florida license to practice optometry.

● Excellent diagnostic, communication, and patient relationship skills.

● Commitment to providing high-quality, detail-oriented care.

● Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and electronic health records preferred.
