About the Position:
We’re hiring a dedicated Optometrist to serve patients at our Brighton and Alton, IL locations. This dual-site role lets you connect with two great communities while enjoying a full, consistent schedule and strong patient base. Our team handles the full pre-testing workup - you just focus on being the doctor.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducting full-scope eye exams with a focus on both vision and medical eye care.
- Diagnosing and managing ocular conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and more, using specialized equipment such as OCT, RetEval, Optos, and more.
- Prescribing and fitting glasses and contacts with customized care.
- Managing pre- and post-op care and educating patients on eye health and prevention.
- Using RevolutionEHR to maintain accurate, efficient records.
- Collaborating with a rockstar support team to deliver a seamless patient experience.
What You’ll Bring:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and active Illinois license.
- Strong diagnostic and medical optometry skills.
- Passion for eyewear, patient education, and building relationships.
- Experience with EMRs (bonus points for RevolutionEHR).
- A team-first attitude and excellent communication skills.
