Optometrist - Full-time - Full-Scope Private Practice - Washington & Peoria, IL

Our practice offers the latest in eye care technology to ensure that our doctors can provide their best care, and so our patients always know they’re in safe hands during each of our eye exams. We see our patients and team as a family, and are always committed to catering to the needs of our family! What You’ll Need:

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
  • Valid IL state license to practice optometry (or pending)
  • The ability to listen to develop rapport with your patients 
  • A team player who is willing to support the team and express their needs

Exposure: We practice behavioral optometry, which constitutes a way of prescribing, of providing preventative care, and a way of thinking, and produces a happier patient and end product. You’ll be able to learn about and practice behavioral optometry, and you’ll have the support of our pre-tester, scribe, and other staff members! We also have incredible state of the art technology, such as:

  • Oculus 5M
  • Optoview OCT
  • luminous IPL
  • Crystal Practice Management electronic records.

Growth & Development: We have the tools for and OD to really explore their interests and develop their career in the direction they want, from dry eye to vision therapy to providing custom scleral lenses if they want. If you’re interested in glaucoma treatment, would love to have a glaucoma enthusiastic doctor come on board!

Schedule: We value work-life balance and only ask our ODs to work every other Saturday, and only half days (8 am to 12 PM) on that Saturday. We typically schedule 3 patients an hour for our doctors so they have the time to really treat and work on a patient’s systemic health.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
