Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision disorders, and educating patients on eye health and preventative care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced staff and access to cutting-edge optical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and disorders
- Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses
- Educate patients on proper eye care and preventative measures
- Collaborate with a team of opticians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay updated on industry trends, treatments, and advancements in optometry
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Licensed to practice optometry in the state
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
