Independent Optometrist - Full-time - Medically-Oriented Private Practice (No Sales!) - Ankeny, IA

We are a family-owned optical business that, since 1951, has been committed to serving the eye care needs of Central Iowa. We have a growing patient base and enjoy seeing a wide range of patients from infants to senior citizens. We are looking for a Full-Time Optometrist to join the practice!
What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
- Valid IA state license to practice optometry (or pending)
- Our ideal candidate is personable and affable with patients and coworkers, has a dedicated work ethic, and has straightforward and transparent communication skills

Exposure: You will gain exposure to a wide range of eye care and vision needs in our full-scope practice with an emphasis on medical optometry. Our doctors will be able to devote their full time to exams, without any sales–you will practice to the fullest extent of the scope of IA.
Environment: Our new OD will be working alongside a technician, and will have the aid of our front desk support. Likewise, they will have everything they need to be successful with our state-of-the-art technology, including an OCT, an autorefractor visual field, and all the equipment needed to provide full-scope medical exams.
Schedule: Our office is open Monday-Friday 8-5 and Saturdays 8-12, and we’re looking for an OD to work 40 hours a week. We only schedule 2 patients per hour to ensure they can devote the most attention to each patient!
