Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with technicians, opticians, and administrative staff to provide a seamless patient experience
- Educate patients about their eye health, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture through professionalism, humility, and teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program
- Active Iowa optometry license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
