Eye Care for Manhattan is seeking a full-time optometrist to join the practice under Dr. Andy Whitley’s ownership. This is an opportunity to build lasting patient relationships with trained scribes and a team supporting your day-to-day work.
THE OFFER
• $175,000 annual salary as a W-2 employee.
• Trained scribes to assist with documentation.
• An established patient base.
• Full-scope optometry, including comprehensive exams and medical eye care.
If you prefer a 1099 arrangement, we’re also open to discussing a compensation structure that makes sense for both parties.
A SCHEDULE WE CAN DISCUSS
Our expected schedule is Monday–Friday, ideally with two Saturdays per month. When working a Saturday, you can take a weekday off earlier that week or discuss working the additional day for extra compensation.
YOUR ROLE
Provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular disease within your scope of practice, and help patients understand their eye health and treatment options. Work closely with scribes and office staff to maintain accurate records, coordinate follow-up care, and create a welcoming patient experience.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
An optometrist with a Doctor of Optometry degree and an active Kansas license by the start date. We value curiosity, collaboration, clear communication, and an interest in practicing full-scope care.
