Optometrist – Full-Time – Private Practice – Hagerstown, MD – Highly Competitive Salary!!

An established, independently owned private practice in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive, full-scope optometry alongside an experienced team in a well-established practice with a strong patient base and loyal following.
The practice has been serving the Hagerstown community for nearly 18 years, with patient care remaining the top priority. Both experienced Optometrists and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Clinical Responsibilities
The Optometrist will provide a broad range of primary and medical eye care services, including:
- Comprehensive eye examinations
- Contact lens evaluations and fittings
- Specialty contact lenses, including RGP, soft, toric, bifocal, and keratoconus lenses
- Cataract and glaucoma testing
- Eye disease detection and management
- Emergency eye care
- Optical services through the onsite modern optical dispensary
Specialty experience is a plus, but not required. The practice is open to both experienced Optometrists and new graduates.
Technology & Support
You'll have access to modern diagnostic technology, including:
- OCT
- Visual field testing
- Optos retinal imaging
- Modern optical dispensary
You'll work alongside Optometrists, experienced Opticians, and additional clinical support, creating a collaborative environment that allows you to focus on providing high-quality patient care.

What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Maryland optometry license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
