Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional eye care services to patients of all ages. We are seeking someone with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of optometry. Our ideal candidate will be someone who not only understands but thrives under our high standards of quality and service.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state optometry license
- Experience with Eyefinity electronic health records system preferred
- Strong background in patient care, including pediatrics and senior care
- In-depth knowledge of ocular physiology and vital signs
- Familiarity with ophthalmology practices and procedures
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment
- Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of optical products and services
- Ability to recommend premium products to all patients
