About the Practice
Our highly skilled optometrists provide routine eyecare for the whole family, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, post-operative care for eye surgeries, and emergency eye care. We are proud to serve our local community, and it is our mission to provide the highest quality optometry and eyewear services for you.
We are looking for a personable, down-to-Earth, and passionate Optometrist to join our team and family on a part-time or full-time basis!
About the Optometrist Position
Our new Optometrist will be an integral member of our team! You'll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to gain diverse experience in a medically-oriented practice!
As an Optometrist in our practice, your regular duties will include:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
- Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
- Handle eye care emergencies
Optometrist Position & Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
- Valid MT state license to practice optometry
- Perform comprehensive eye exams on an average of 15-20 patients per day
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Handle eye care emergencies
- Strong communication skills
- Self starter who is excited by the idea of potentially having a stake in ownership down the line
