Optometrist- Full-time open to Part-Time- Mesquite, NV (Inside Walmart)
This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope medical optometry with state-of-the-art equipment while serving a community with significant clinical needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive eye exams in a medically oriented practice
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, with a strong focus on glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts
- Utilize advanced diagnostic technology to support patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Deliver a high standard of care to a primarily older patient population
- Participate in a light retail environment (minimal emphasis on optical sales)
Utilize Cutting-Edge Technology and Equipment, Including:
- Topcon Maestro OCT
- ERG (Electroretinography)
- Specular Microscope
- IPL and Radiofrequency Technology
What You’ll Need:
- OD degree (Doctor of Optometry)
- Open to new graduates and upcoming graduates
- Willingness to become credentialed with medical and insurance providers
- Strong interest in medical optometry
- Professional demeanor and presentation
You’ll Work Closely With:
- This is an independent role where you will primarily manage your own patient care and workflow
Compensation and Benefits:
- Average daily compensation: $1,500
- No additional benefits offered
- Ramp-up period provided to support your transition into the practice
