We are a well-established, full-scope private practice with three locations, known for our friendly, professional culture and strong clinical support. We are seeking an optometrist who is comfortable practicing full-scope optometry, while also supporting clinicians in tailoring their practice to their strengths, interests, and experience. Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities

 We are searching for a talented optometrist to join our growing practice. You will use your clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal OD candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and is a lifelong learner who values staying current with advances in eye care and clinical best practices. Your regular duties will include:

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams
  • Diagnose and manage/treat ocular diseases
  • Fitting contact lenses
  • Prescribe corrective lenses
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
  • Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
  • Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
  • Providing urgent/emegent office visits
  • No weekends

Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
  • Valid state license to practice optometry
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
  • Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
