Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages, assessing vision and eye health.
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive errors.
- Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
- Counsel patients on vision care and eye health, providing personalized recommendations.
- Stay current with the latest developments in optometry and eye care technologies.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow all compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice optometry.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with maintaining patient health records is preferred.
- A flexible schedule is desirable for full-time and part-time roles.
