Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and assessments, including refraction, tonometry, and retinal evaluations.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
  • Educate and counsel patients on eye care and eye health maintenance.
  • Collaborate with our team of eye care professionals to provide outstanding patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements

  1. Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
  2. Valid New York State Optometry License.
  3. Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry (ABO) or equivalent.
  4. Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year; depending on experience and hours

Expected hours: 8 – 36 per week
