Summary
We are seeking a part-time Optometrist to join our team at J&C Optical in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, you will provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose visual problems, and offer personalized patient care to enhance the overall health of our community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and assess patients' visual health.
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- State licensure to practice optometry in New York.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Experience with electronic medical records is a plus.
