Optometrist – Part-time – Ophthalmology practice – 2333 N Triphammer Rd Ithaca, Ny

About Our Practice

We are a growing private Ophthalmology/Optometry practice in beautiful Ithaca, NY that has been in business for 18 years now. We are seeking another optometrist to help with our expanding patient base and to continue to grow with our practice.

This is a single office location with no travel to other offices required.

We see a diverse population of patients, including kids and adults. In our university town, many patients come from distant places, others live next door. We see folks with nothing but refractive errors and those with complex medical or surgical eye disease.  Although one of our current doctors is fellowship trained in pediatric ophthalmology, we treat all types of ocular disorders and expect our new associate to do the same.

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Doctors rotate a very easy office call.        Salary is competitive for the region, and benefits include paid vacation time, health insurance, 401K and continuing education costs.

We are located in Ithaca, NY- a charming college town, close to Cornell University and Ithaca College. As such, we have a diverse, multicultural intellectual community, with associated restaurants, events and opportunities. The area offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, skiing, enjoying our 40-mile lake, wineries and more. Our county boasts one of the lowest unemployment rates in the state, fueled by a growing economy based on education and healthcare as well as agriculture, tech startups and tourism.

The office itself is spacious and modern, with caring staff and state of the art equipment. We pride ourselves on the quality care we give to our patients, who are also our neighbors.

New Grads Welcome!
