Optometrist - Part-Time/Full-Time - Private Practice - Ithaca, NY- No Weekends!

This is a great opportunity if you are a recent grad or an OD early in your career who is interested in a long-term role with the potential for partnership a few years down the road!
What You’ll Need:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
- Valid NY state license to practice optometry (or pending)
- Desire to learn and grow with the practice
What You’ll Do:
● Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Conduct vision therapy evaluations (if applicable)
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Collaborate with other optometrists, therapists and support staff
- Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
- Conduct community outreach at local schools, colleges and universities
- Maintain detailed electronic patient records
- Work towards practice growth initiatives in Ithaca and beyond
- Become the best doctor you can be through continuing education, specialization
- and professional networking
Who You Are:

- Therapy specialty is a plus but not required - we encourage specialization but are happy to support any professional interest: vision therapy, low vision, pediatrics, specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, etc.
