We are a growing 40 year old private practice with a single location. We have 7 part and full time employees .We are close to beaches, excellent schools and Broadway shows! We demonstrate a commitment to professional optometric care and superior personal service. We hope to enhance each patients experience by providing the highest quality eyewear, the latest contact lenses and technologically advanced lens options. Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities
Optometrist wanted for 16-40 hours per week for a full scope private practice with partnership/ownership opportunities in the near future .Two years experience preferred. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic associate to support a growing patient base and a willingness to learn all aspects of private practice and to benefit from partnership opportunities in the not too distant future.
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe specialty contact and corrective lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree with 1-2 years of experience
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
